A couple of days ago we received multiple Fake Googlebot warnings from Xerosurf for the first time.

[12-03-2009-00:34:50] bad-behavior 403 User-Agent claimed to be Googlebot- claim appears to be false. (f1182195) xerosurf.com
Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Googlebot/2.1; +http : / / www.google.com/bot.html)

The IP used was 76.73.76.122. It resolves to mail.localdomain.ws. A search on Google quickly revealed that something was going on with this domain. Two other IP got auto banned for the same reason:
